BASKET BLITZ

Verizon wanted to reach the Hispanic community in Los Angeles, but also wanted the campaign to reach the entire country.

First, we created a Tumblr-based video game called Basket Blitz where Verizon customers could shoot hoops to win prizes.

Then in LA, we brought the game IRL, but instead of your phone you could play against Los Angeles Laker Julius Randle to win suite tickets and the chance to play on the court with him.
